Taurasi is Campania’s finest red; made predominantly from the Aglianico grape, it has alluring, crowd-pleasing flavours of black cherry and chocolate, backed by impressive richness on the palate, good acidity and firm tannins. Produced in the eponymous zone in Irpinia, Taurasi has proven its aging potential over the decades, it is an astonishing wine, one with notable complexity and harmony as well as freshness.
